ACCEPT A PLACE OF SERVICE IN YOUR CHURCH
- Accept it with humility. You’re not up to the task alone, but with God’s
help and favor you can do the job! - Accept it prayerfully. You know your weakness, problems, and limitations,
God knows them, too. Seek His help. Pray for wisdom, guidance, and
strength. - Accept it with determination. This is a job you will do well. Determine that
you will do all that is expected and more. Through this task you can make
a lasting contribution to the Lord’s work. - Accept it with dedication. Knowing that you belong to God, pledge yourself
to be used of Him in this important part of His work. - Accept it with joy. Pray this prayer of praise and thanks: “Thank you, Lord,
and fellow church members, for this opportunity and your trust. I claim the
blessings and satisfaction I expect from God as I do my work for Him.”
